One tree. One top. One of one.
A true single-slab live edge table: one continuous cross-section of a single Saman tree (monkeypod), cut natural edge to natural edge. Not narrow boards glued into a panel with a live edge applied to the outside.
Slab No. 13 is nine feet long and 2½ inches thick: 45 in at the broad end and 33 in through the rest of its length. Rustic: a run of natural voids and knot holes along one edge and fine natural movement in the top, all cleaned out and sealed in lacquer rather than filled. If you want to see how they sit in daily use, come and look at it.
Seats eight to ten.
Professionally lacquered top, gloss sheen. Black steel base included; the base design paired with this slab is confirmed with you before purchase. Finished height 30 in.
The first image shows this slab finished on one of our black steel bases, on a studio background. The warehouse photographs that follow are the same slab before assembly.
Legally imported Saman from Ecuador. For interior use.
Inspection welcome by appointment, seven days a week, if you are within reach of Chicago. Local pickup in Lincolnwood, IL, or in-home delivery arranged through Chairish.
