A vintage table lamp by Van Briggle Pottery of Colorado Springs, featuring a sculptural ceramic base with a softly faceted, octagonal form and matte glaze. The base carries Van Briggle’s impressed conjoined double-A monogram along with the “Van Briggle” and “USA” marks on the underside.
The pottery base is paired with an oversized woven rattan shade that gives the lamp a warm, organic character. Its combination of American art pottery and natural basket-weave texture works particularly well in Arts and Crafts, rustic, Southwestern, and organic-modern interiors.
The woven shade displays age-related wear, including several loose or broken fibers, as shown in the photographs.
