Constructed from solid hardwood (birch or maple) with a rich original patina, this statement piece features a 28-drawer configuration: four wide top drawers positioned over twenty-four uniform lower drawers.

Every drawer is built with full dovetailed joinery and fitted with patinated original brass bin/card-holder pulls, with centered drill marks from an earlier period when secondary knobs were likely installed—a touch that adds to its layered, authentic character. The drawer interiors feature side grooves designed for drop-in wooden dividers, with a couple dividers still present. The piece exhibits distinct historical details, including hand-penciled cabinetmaker lot numbers (#532A) and dimensions on the drawer backs and interior framing.

The cabinet measures 67.5 inches wide by 16.5 inches deep by 42 inches high, offering a substantial yet low-profile footprint. Storage is split into two distinct drawer sizes: the top row contains four wide drawers measuring 13.5 inches wide by 14 inches deep by 3.25 inches high, while the remaining twenty-four lower drawers each measure 8.5 inches wide by 14 inches deep by 5.5 inches high.
