The drum-shaped body is bordered by a crenellated band reminiscent of castle walls, each notch marked by a raised rivet, while the underside features a hammered and dotted texture, typical of the period's artisanal forging. At the bottom, a perforated panel of interlaced iron bands forms a geometric grid that curls into scrolls at its ends—a motif that echoes medieval and Gothic Revival ornamentation, reinterpreted through a mid-century lens.
