The mix of solid and veneered Burmese teak composition has been entirely hand-sanded and refinished however signs of vintage wear remain such as veneer burns / repairs, areas of minor discoloration and surfave scratches too deep to be sanded out (all of which can be seen in the detail photos and natural light video provided). The backing on the inner shelf was lost to time and new one has been fabricated using teak however a seam remains (shown in the photos provided). The desk opens outward to a maximum extended depth of 38" whilst slimming down to a folded depth of 29". All four drawers open and close with ease as does the flip-flap storage piece. The key is missing and a new lock with key can be installed at cost if desired. This versatile desk is ultra-functional, structurally solid and ready for a literal lifetime more of use thanks to it's recent restoration process.
