An authentic production stamp on the back dates the piece precisely to October 9, 1962. We have freshly restored and sanded the sideboard: This expert refinishing beautifully highlights the wild, expressive grain of the larch wood, giving the piece a distinctive, warm feel with strong character. with a generous width of 230 cm, the sideboard offers enormous storage space. The layout is as well-conceived as it is functional: On the left: Four spacious, precisely crafted drawers for small items and documents. On the right: Three generously sized cabinet doors without obstructing shelves – the interior height makes this compartment ideal for large items, baskets, or the perfect storage of files. The uncompromising, almost architectural design embodies the Brutalism of the early 1960s and makes this piece of furniture a striking statement piece for spacious living or working areas.
