Antique painted fir wood chest, dated 1807. The piece features three arched front panels with polychrome floral motifs, original finishes, and period inscriptions on the lower rail. A curated selection for connoisseurs of antique Alpine chests.

Painted fir wood chest, dated 1807 on the front.
The structure features a forest green background color and is defined on the front by three arched panels. Each niche encloses, against a light background, a stylized floral motif painted in polychrome tones of red, black, and ochre.
The lower rail bears a red painted inscription featuring the date "1807" and the initials belonging to the maker or commissioner.
The sides are decorated with light-background panels framed with geometric borders and stylized curvilinear motifs. The top lid features two large rectangular panels with plant-inspired decorations.
