This is a beautiful porcelain pot, standing 6.75"T x 6"W. Made in Japan in the likeness of Royal Crown Derby's Blue Mikado pattern, this would have been exported in the early 1900s. The piece is unmarked and in remarkably good condition for its age. No chips or cracks, it has iron ore staining and pitting, appropriate for age.
A different hand painted scene on each side. Not able to capture it in the photos, but the painting can almost be felt with a fingertip.
