Early bauhaus “tastlicht”’ table lamp/night light, by the designer marianne brandt.
marked on the base: gmf (gothaer metallwarenfabrik) d.r.p. – etc.
the base is made of dark brown bakelite with a white bakelite push-button; the lampshade is made of green cameo glass with brown speckles. The rest of the fixture is chrome-plated.
the lampshade can be tilted via a hinge.
original e27 socket.
it works perfectly with the push-button – really lovely! – and is in good condition with the original wire and plug. This piece has an attribution mark,
i am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
