A rare matching pair of retired early-2000s modernist accent pillows featuring the iconic "House" and "Moon" graphic designs by legendary mid-century master Alexander Girard (famed director of design for the Herman Miller textile division). Manufactured by Maximo, this set features two distinct, complementary colorway configurations.

Hand-silkscreened in the United States
100% European linen fabric
Fill is 95% duck feather and 5% duck down
Envelope closure
Alexander Girard Signature printed on the lower right side of each pillow
Original Maximo labels attached

"Moon" Pillow: Graphic blue and black print on a natural linen background
"House" Pillow: Warm, vibrant print rendered in blue, pink, and two shades of red, on a natural linen background

Official item size is 17" x 17" - this is on the legal tag
Actual stuffed size is approximately 16" x 16" (due to the filling pulling the corners inward)
Provenance: The Seller is the original owner. The pillows were purchased new. Digital copies of the original purchase receipts can be provided to the buyer upon request.
