Exceptional luxury reclining chair attributed to Gregorius | Pineo’s Amsterdam model, custom upholstered in a sophisticated champagne-gold and alabaster-toned textile with coordinating gold piping.
Originally custom ordered for a Beverly Hills estate, the chair was very rarely used and remains in pristine condition. It has the tailored appearance of a high-end lounge chair with a discreet built-in manual reclining mechanism and concealed upholstered footrest.
The original loose seat cushion is filled with 75% goose feathers and 25% goose down. The cushion retains its original law tag, handwritten “Amsterdam.” The reclining mechanism retains a dated 3/12/08 label marked “Made in USA,” supporting a circa 2008 production date.
Chair is unmarked; no Gregorius | Pineo maker’s label or signature has been located. Attribution is based on the chair’s configuration, proportions, reclining design, and original cushion tag marked “Amsterdam.”
Custom upholstery presents beautifully with virtually no visible wear. No significant stains, tears, fading, odors, or damage observed. Reclining mechanism functions properly.
