Elevate your desk, mantle, or library shelving with this stunning, heavy lead crystal art glass paperweight pair designed by world-renowned artist James Carpenter for The Franklin Mint's exclusive 1987 "Crystal Caper" collection. Crafted by expert glassmakers in Germany, these sculptures replicate multi-faceted, light-refracting Arctic icebergs.
Each dramatic glacier serves as a naturalistic landscape for miniature, silver-toned metal wildlife figurines. One iceberg features three crawling polar bear cubs scaling the peaks, while the other features a detailed pair of penguins navigating the icy slopes.
Both pieces feature the authentic frosted "The Franklin Mint © 1987" copyright emblem etched cleanly into the bases, their original "Made in Germany" foil labels, and distinct numerical registration serial numbers hand-etched into the bottom corners. Exceptional, brilliant vintage condition with no chips, fractures, or clouding.
