The frame is made of wood, richly decorated with repoussé and applied brass. The entire piece is covered with an exceptionally striking ornamental design featuring rocaille motifs, acanthus leaves, flowers, palmettes, and floral motifs. The central, elaborate cartouche at the top lends the piece a stately character.

The mirror features a beveled pane that harmonizes beautifully with the richly decorated frame. The original wooden construction, including the mounting hardware, is preserved on the back.

A highly decorative piece, suitable for both classic and eclectic interiors. It looks particularly striking as a single accent piece above a console table, a chest of drawers, or in a grand entrance hall.
