Originally conceived as a luxury jeweller’s display or presentation mirror, this substantial piece embodies the refined glamour associated with Chopard during the second half of the 20th century. Its architectural construction combines a polished gold-tone metal body with a thick bevelled mirror plate and distinctive deep-red cabochon accents set into the ends of the cylindrical frame.
The mirror bears the elegant Chopard signature in gold directly on the glass.
Despite its relatively compact proportions, the piece is remarkably substantial, weighing approximately 3.5 kg (7.7 lb). The weight and precision of the construction give it the presence of a genuine luxury display object rather than a conventional dressing-table mirror.
The mirror is fully adjustable. Its internal pivot mechanism allows the glass to be tilted through a wide range of positions and holds it securely at the selected angle. The mechanism remains firm and operates smoothly.
The combination of polished gold surfaces, bevelled glass and jewel-like red cabochons gives the piece a particularly sophisticated appearance, characteristic of luxury boutique and jewellery presentation objects of the period.
Today, it works equally well as a functional dressing or table mirror and as a sculptural decorative object for a dressing room, console, jewellery display or sophisticated interior.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. The mirror plate is exceptionally well preserved, with no noticeable scratches, chips or other damage. The gold-tone metal shows minor age-related surface wear, including fine marks, small areas of oxidation and one localized corrosion spot beneath the mirror on the lower left side. Additional minor signs of age are visible on the upper and rear metal surfaces. These imperfections are discreet and consistent with the age of the piece. The adjustable mechanism operates smoothly and holds the mirror securely in position.
