A very fine carved walnut chest in the Renaissance style, featuring a particularly ornate facade.

The facade is organized around three panels separated by carved pilasters.

The two large side panels are adorned with geometric relief motifs, central rosettes, and foliate decoration.

The narrower central panel houses the lock and is set within an elaborately carved frame.

The uprights are decorated with mascarons, foliage, and stylized motifs, while the lower section features a shaped crossbar punctuated by carved consoles.

The chest rests on four straight legs.

The top lifts to reveal a large storage space.

An internal metal locking mechanism is present.

The walnut has a beautiful, warm patina, and its decorative quality makes this chest a truly distinctive piece.
