An imposing and dramatic large-format table lamp, made in Italy in the 1970s.
The central body is composed of a large ceramic sphere, finely glazed in a vibrant apple green. The ceramic surface features a relief pattern with irregular horizontal grooves for a fluid, wavy effect, creating visually striking plays of light and shadow.
The original cylindrical lampshade is made of semi-transparent acrylic glass/acrylic in a matching green, finished at the top and bottom edges with elegant chrome-plated/satin metal bands. The internal structure features a diffuser for a soft, warm light distribution.
An iconic piece of Italian Space Age/Mid-Century Modern, perfect for adding a touch of bold color and character to modern or period spaces.
In excellent original vintage condition. Minor, natural signs of wear consistent with its age. The electrical system is fully functional.
