Teak coffee table with drawer. Scandinavian production, 1960s.
Coffee table produced in Scandinavia in the 1960s. The rectangular top is supported by an open structure in which uprights and crosspieces form a simple grid, leaving the furniture's volume fully visible. The drawer, located under the top without interrupting the continuity of the structure, appears suspended between the legs and features a recessed oval handle carved directly into the front. The square legs extend seamlessly to the floor, while the longitudinal and transverse crosspieces contribute to the stability of the whole, maintaining a visually light construction. The quality of the coffee table lies in the precision with which each element is proportioned and assembled, leaving the character of the piece entirely to the teak craftsmanship.
Good condition. May show signs of wear. Please refer to the photographs carefully.
