Made by hand in northern Sweden around 1840 with two large and functional drawers. The writing desk has an interior with drawers and nooks behind it. Original first layer of paint from the 1840s. This decorative faux paint is the painter’s imaginative interpretation of mahogany. Good vintage condition with some smaller marks and scuffs after 200 years of use. Healthy and stable frame. The drawer pulls to the drawers were replaced sometime during the late 1800s. Height to the desk top is 68cm and the desk is 33 cm deep. Depth of the chest is 36 and 18.5 cm respectively. See less
