Made in Sweden by Tingströms in the 1960s, the "Casino" coffee table is part of the eponymous series designed by Sven Engström and Gunnar Myrstrand and available in various furniture styles. Crafted from oak, it features a square top with slightly rounded edges, supported by four straight rectangular legs. Between the top and the band connecting the legs is a slightly recessed element, a subtle difference in depth that adds movement to the otherwise linear profile. At the bottom, two crosspieces connect the legs, and a third, central and perpendicular, joins them together. The open construction thus highlights the structure and light grain of the oak. The original mark under the top reads Tingströms, Bra Bohag, Modell "Casino," and Engström Myrstrand, directly documenting its origin and production.
