Make a serene and commanding statement with this magnificent, vintage monumental standing Buddha sculpture. Standing at just over four feet tall and weighing an impressive 70 pounds, this substantial piece is traditionally lost-wax cast in solid heavy brass with a rich, multi-toned antiqued brown patina and subtle natural oxidation accents.
The figure is depicted standing atop an inverted lotus petal pedestal throne. His right hand is raised in the Abhaya Mudra, the traditional gesture of fearlessness, protection, and peace, while his left hand gracefully holds the fold of his monastic robes.
With its grand scale and exceptional heft, this striking sculpture is perfect as an entryway centerpiece, a focal point for a living area, or a dramatic addition to a covered terrace. It remains in excellent vintage condition with beautiful, authentic age-related character to the brass finish.
