A vintage Japanese eggshell porcelain demitasse cup and saucer set showcasing traditional hand-painted cobalt blue underglaze scenery. The vignette depicts a serene landscape of rolling mountain ridges, waterways, footbridges, and thatched-roof cottages (minka).
Both pieces feature delicate scalloped rims, subtle molded spiral fluting, and fine gilt edge detailing. The porcelain body is translucent and lightweight, displaying fine mid-century Japanese export craftsmanship.
