The surface features a magnificent, naturally aged green verdigris patina that has developed beautifully through a century of oxidation. In accordance with professional historical appraisals, the small, pin-sized holes visible in the ornate headdress are entirely original production traits resulting from the traditional lost-wax casting technique. The interior retains visible remnants of its original ancient casting core, and the exterior exhibits minor, honest surface wear and handling marks that are consistent with its significant age and serve to validate its authenticity. less
