Vintage Table Lamp in Glazed Ceramic and Chrome-Plated Metal – 1970s
A table lamp characteristic of 1970s design, combining a caramel-brown glazed ceramic base with chrome-plated metal accents. The turned stem features a stepped baluster profile with successive contours (narrow neck, wide shoulder, gadrooned base), typical of French or German ceramic production of the period. The glossy, homogeneous, caramel-brown glaze highlights the interplay of the turned volumes.
Fitting: circular chrome-plated metal base, socket fitting also chrome-plated — a metal/ceramic finish highly sought after in 1970s occasional furniture.
Shade: cylindrical drum of woven plant fiber in a raffia/jute style, honey color, lined and trimmed in cream.
