Its sculptural silhouette recalls the glamorous lighting designs produced by celebrated Italian makers. Characterized by a dense texture of slender natural reed canes, each strand was carefully hand-bent and woven to form a beautifully balanced dome that softly diffuses light, making it an ideal statement fixture above a dining table, breakfast nook, or seating area. Its substantial proportions create a striking visual presence while retaining an elegant sense of lightness\. The pendant is fully functional. The electrical system has been completely rewired to ensure safe everyday use, while the woven reed shade has been thoroughly cleaned and treated with a protective wax to preserve and enhance the natural fibers. The original brass chain and ceiling canopy have intentionally been left with their beautiful aged patina, further emphasizing the authentic vintage character of the piece.
