Made in Scandinavia in the 1960s, this coffee table combines a bamboo frame with a rectangular wood veneer top. The frame is composed of cylindrical elements connected by horizontal crosspieces, while the slightly outwardly inclined legs provide stability and define a visually light profile. The joints are finished with exposed wicker bindings, a characteristic detail of this construction technique. The tabletop, with its simple lines and lack of decorative elements, creates a textural contrast with the bamboo, enhancing the natural tones of the two materials. The overall design reflects a widely used style in Scandinavian production of the 1960s, in which natural materials and craftsmanship are combined in simple, well-proportioned structures.
