It strikes a beautiful balance between understated style and practical everyday use. Its compact size, 144.5 cm long, makes it ideal for a living room, entryway, or as a TV stand.

Its large, round, solid wood handles immediately catch the eye. The two doors also feature long, full-height metal hinges. As a result, the piece maintains a clean and very sturdy look.

A beautiful restoration for this small Scandinavian sapele sideboard

First, this antique piece underwent a complete restoration in our workshop to regain its full luster. We replaced all the veneer with new sapele wood, perfectly preserving the wood grain and original style.

Then, we applied a special protective oil for exotic woods. This finish protects the piece from water and makes it easy to clean. The three middle drawers are assembled with clearly visible dovetail joints, ensuring long-lasting durability.

Practical and well-designed storage

This small Scandinavian sapele sideboard offers several well-separated storage spaces:

On one side, the left-hand door opens to reveal a large enclosed compartment for storing your belongings.
In the center, the three drawers slide smoothly to accommodate your smaller items.
On the other side, the right-hand door conceals a fixed wooden shelf for your dishes or books.
Finally, the four slender, round legs provide stability while maintaining a light and airy look.
