The characteristic combination of chrome-plated tubular steel and robust black saddle leather lends the chairs an elegant, architectural, and timeless appeal.

The frame is made of continuously bent, chrome-plated tubular steel. Its minimalist lines create a striking contrast to the black saddle leather. The seat and backrest require no conventional upholstery: the robust leather is stretched between the structural elements, creating a slightly springy seating surface. The leather-covered armrests continue this material concept. The exposed construction is particularly appealing – nothing is concealed; rather, the tubular steel, leather, seams, and fasteners themselves become design elements.

The set of four chairs offered here is in very good vintage condition. The black saddle leather is beautifully preserved, showing only a minimal, authentic patina and a few minor signs of age-appropriate wear. This subtle patina accentuates the leather's original character without detracting from its overall refined appearance. The chrome-plated tubular steel frames are also beautifully presented, boasting an attractive, even sheen. The leather armrest covers and visible seams are equally well-maintained.
