Set against a rich midnight blue background, the design features a delicate small central medallion woven in soft pale red and baby blue hues. The border presents a beautiful abrash effect in tones of rose and red, enriched with intricate motifs in pink, green, blue, and yellow. The corner spandrels, rendered in a gentle baby blue, continue the Herati pattern with refined precision. Woven in the tradition and spirit of the legendary Haji Jalili of Tabriz, this piece embodies the artistry and sophistication for which late 19th-century Persian carpets are celebrated.
