Renowned worldwide for their exceptional beauty and remarkably fine, tight weave, Senneh rugs are considered among the most sophisticated of Persian textiles. This captivating area rug features an elegant all-over Herati design, which has become a signature pattern for Senneh weavers. This intricate motif of rosettes within diamond lattices gracefully unfolds across a deep and commanding dark blue field color, creating a sophisticated and timeless backdrop. This beautiful border is uniquely set on an abrash light blue/green color background, where subtle, natural tonal variations beautifully highlight the ""foreign flower"" motifs. This ""abrash"" effect, a result of traditional dyeing methods, adds a profound sense of patina and historical charm.
