White gestural linework overlaps and circulates across the surface, allowing deeper passages of blue to emerge and recede as the painting is viewed at different distances. The brushwork creates a sense of depth, movement and continuous visual activity across the entire canvas.

Part of the Chiffon Series, this 24 x 30 inch canvas extends the series into a substantial bridge format between the smaller entry works and the larger paintings. Its saturated blue field and luminous white linework give it strong presence within contemplative, contemporary interiors.
