This is new art, Parker People (off-center, but on-target) created by Ron and Yvonne Parker, inspired by their world travels. This is a unique, mixed-media-multiple on paper (Pochoir), overpainted by the artist. Sent directly from the artists' studio. Signed. Picasso did a series of what he called “Les Portraits, Imaginaires” in the 1960s. Warhol’s portraits in the 1970s focused on celebrities. Parker’s portraits are inspired by his world travels, in this case Palm Beach where he has resided, in season, for 25 years.

These mixed-media works on paper have no antecedent in art history. Original, non-derivative expression of affluence and affectations, these eccentric works are positive, colorful creations of Parker’s vision. A vision that is iconoclastic, irreverent, and provocative, with a humorous overtone.

Each work in the series commands our attention and is very memorable, even after one viewing. In a home, the multiple combinations and placements of these portraits make a statement and a guaranteed fun source of conversation.
