My parents (ages 91 and 87) these spoon-back chairs when they were newlyweds. They remember choosing the style and wood type at the Baker Furniture Company. The chairs occupied a special place in the living room and were meant to be seen, not sat in! About 15 years ago, they they had them reupholstered to keep up with the changing color-palate of their decor. This may be why the chairs are unmarked.
The chairs are in excellent condition, with only slight evidence of wear. The upholstery is in excellent shape and spotless. These chairs have only ever lived in a non-smoking, non-pet home. The chairs come with matching decorative pillows that can be used as back pillows.
