It should be noted that this is a species of softwood, of high quality and therefore easy to work and durable.
It is surely a mother represented with her little boy, positioned against her chest and whom she tenderly wraps with her arms. She is holding the hand and foot of her offspring and seems to be looking at him with a maternal look.
A simple pair of panties dresses the little boy while a long pleated cape covers the body of the lady, except on her belly which is bare. Her hair is long and her neck is accessorized with a necklace. Small shoes are on her feet.
The whole is based on a base of 7 cm high.
One will feel a lot of affection for this beautiful redwood statuette exuding benevolence, devotion and appeasement.
