Original oil painting on canvas board by California artist Kathleen Murray (American, b. 1958), depicting the dramatic coastline of Big Sur, California.
Born in Los Angeles, Kathleen Murray is a California artist known for her richly colored and expressive oil landscapes and seascapes. Her work frequently celebrates the natural beauty of California’s Central Coast, including Big Sur, Carmel, and the Monterey Bay area.
This intimate coastal composition captures the rugged beauty and atmosphere of Big Sur in Murray’s distinctive painterly style. Its smaller 8 x 10 scale makes it particularly versatile for display and would be beautiful professionally framed, incorporated into a gallery wall, or displayed as part of a collection of California art.
A wonderful original work for collectors of California coastal art, seascapes, American Impressionism, and contemporary California painting.
