Delicate Portrait Terracotta Patina Claire Louise Brongniart, after the model of the famous French sculptor Jean-Antoine Houdon (1741 - 1828), now in the Louvre. This Work transcribes the great talent of this portraitist, also nicknamed ''The Sculptor of the Enlightenment.''
The subject turns his head to the opposite direction, the bare shoulders. His face, which is presented to us three-quarter face, exudes the roundness of childhood. His hair gently in a bun, held by a headband topped with a knot. The artist has given with regard to a girl Thoughtful and Deep air.
The Ensemble is based on a base of Origin so Faux Bois, marked ''Terracotta Art''. Signature of the Master is affixed above, the rear base of the bust.
