Beautiful limited-edition wildlife lithograph “August,” also known as “Ruby-Throated Hummingbirds,” by acclaimed American wildlife watercolor artist Sallie Ellington Middleton.
The composition depicts two ruby-throated hummingbirds surrounded by trumpet vine blossoms and delicate seed pods, rendered in Middleton’s highly detailed naturalistic style.
The print is hand-signed in pencil by Sallie Middleton in the lower left and numbered 563/2000, indicating the 563rd impression in a limited edition of 2,000.
