Charming vintage figurative artwork titled “The Song Bird,” signed Czerwinski, depicting an elegantly dressed young woman delicately holding a small songbird.
The composition has a distinctly romantic Art Deco-era sensibility, with the fashionable female figure rendered in soft, graceful lines against a beautifully illustrated landscape of sweeping tree branches and foliage. Subtle tones of cream, blush, pale blue-green, charcoal and brown give the work an ethereal quality.
