The 36mm three-body Oyster case measures 13mm thick and carries a screw-down crown and screw-down caseback, fronted by a sapphire crystal with cyclops magnification over the date. Serial places production circa 1988, at the end of the reference's run.

Rolex calibre 3135, automatic self-winding, chronometer certified by COSC, with roughly 48 hours of power reserve. The 3135 arrived with this generation of Datejust and went on to serve Rolex for more than three decades. Fitted to a five-link stainless steel Jubilee bracelet with folding clasp.
