A beautiful pair of antique Walther & Sohne frosted satin glass candlesticks. Established in 1888 in Germany, they were well-known for their art deco glass pieces made in the 1930's, where they capitalized on the glamor of the era and produced bowls, centerpieces and figural nudes, making high-quality, decorative glass affordable for the middle class.
These are beautiful examples of these and are from their Nymphen series, featuring a nude female figure with a draped cloth behind her.
The candlesticks have no damage, a bit of wax on the top. No cracks or chips to the glass. Each candlestick measures 9" tall and has the original sticker on the base.
