Charming sculptural sheep by Meier Germany, crafted in wood with a soft ivory wool body, carved natural wood head and legs, leather ears, and expressive inset eyes.
The whimsical form recalls the celebrated sheep sculptures of François-Xavier Lalanne while retaining the distinctive craftsmanship and character associated with Meier’s German-made animal figures. The elongated carved wooden muzzle and beautifully textured fleece give the piece an especially expressive personality.
A wonderful decorative object for a living room, library, bedroom, nursery, or eclectic interior, equally at home in Scandinavian, modern, traditional, or collected spaces.
Made in Germany and retaining its original Meier Germany and “A World Traveller Collection” hang tags. Presented in excellent condition.
