They lean into the playful, sculptural language of Postmodern design, with slender iron legs, a pie-wire seat, and a low circular stretcher for extra stability. The scrollwork would have been shaped by hand over a form, one continuous coil rather than a stamped or cast repeat, which is part of why no two spirals sit quite identically. The open wire seats work beautifully as-is, or take well to a round cushion or woven rattan topper if you want to soften the look further. Pull them around a dining table or garden table for a set that reads as sculpture as much as seating.
