The front face is centered with a decorative brass escutcheon and pendant lock, flanked by large brass boss studs; three drawers fitted across the base carry matching brass pulls. The lid is decorated in a sparser nail-head geometric pattern against the exposed wood ground. Each side carries a brass drop-ring handle. The plain wood interior includes a small fitted side compartment; the lid interior is fitted with a pierced brass lock hasp and two ornate pointed-finial hinges. Good antique condition with wear, patina, and some brass loss consistent with age. See less
