Portrait of a lady with light, curled hair, wearing a richly decorated dress with a plunging neckline and lace ruff, and a striking, large hat with feathers.

Gouache signed by the artist, Darcet. The handwritten inscription "Elizabeth" is visible on the reverse, printed on a piece of old paper.
