A distinctive set of two original bang & olufsen telephones representing two generations of danish industrial design.
the set includes:
bang & olufsen beocom 2000 – an iconic desk telephone designed by lone and gideon lindinger-loewy. This is the desirable early version featuring the distinctive multicoloured keypad, display and concealed writing pad / telephone number section underneath the sliding cover.
the telephone retains its original bang & olufsen inserts and labels.
bang & olufsen beocom 6000 – a cordless dect telephone designed by henrik sørig thomsen. Its elegant curved handset features an lcd display and the characteristic central navigation wheel.
it comes with the original sculptural bang & olufsen aluminium beocom 6000 table charger, whose triangular architectural form makes it a particularly attractive piece of b&o industrial design.
both telephones are tested and working.
good vintage condition with minor signs of age and normal use, as shown in the photographs.
an excellent set for a bang & olufsen collector, a danish design enthusiast or simply as a striking decorative and functional addition to a modernist interior.
