This striking vintage ceiling light features a rounded cylindrical chrome shade with a deep recessed interior and a contrasting light-colored inner surface. The shade has a bold, technical silhouette, almost like a suspended spotlight, giving the lamp a strong architectural presence. The combination of reflective chrome, dark suspension cable and clean functional form recalls the experimental italian lighting design of the 1970s. Its directional construction makes it suitable above a table, in a hallway, kitchen, studio or modernist interior where a focused yet decorative light is desired. The lamp is offered in the style of artemide and is not presented as an original artemide production.
