The chair has an adjustable curved slatted back, through-tenon construction and corbels under the arms with four vertical slats to the floor, circa 1910.

The substantial oak frame features broad plank arms, classic Mission proportions, exposed joinery, and distinctive geometric/pyramidal wood details along the arms. The adjustable Morris-style back allows for multiple reclining positions.

The matching quarter-sawn oak ottoman is included and features complementary Mission construction and upholstery.
