This pair of Italian Tuscan side tables features painted frames in a faded cerulean blue, accented throughout with hand-painted yellow … Read more This pair of Italian Tuscan side tables features painted frames in a faded cerulean blue, accented throughout with hand-painted yellow ochre line details along the scalloped aprons and cabriole legs. Each table top is painted to simulate marble in warm russet and amber tones, framed by a contrasting ochre border with a shaped and scalloped edge. Each table contains a single drawer fitted with a small wooden knob pull. The slender cabriole legs are decorated with a painted interlacing ribbon motif and end in pad feet. The reverse and underside show unfinished wood consistent with period construction. Paint shows crazing and some chipping throughout, consistent with age. Priced and sold as a pair. See less
