Striking vintage Italian Majolica ceramic footbath/jardinière planter featuring a sculptural lion face with an open mouth, creating a distinctive mascaron-style focal point. The lion motif and opening detail give this piece an architectural, Old World character. The design is repeated on both sides.
Heavy and substantial, with intentional distressed character that enhances its aged European appeal. A wonderful statement planter or decorative trough for a French country, European antique, or collected interior.
