The massive table features a substantial rectangular plank top measuring 2.5" thick made up of two rustic oak planks finished with breadboard ends. The top rests on a broad and boldly shaped trestle base displaying dramatically stepped and sculpted hourglass shaped supports terminating in large shoe feet with pierced cutouts on the bottom. The legs are connected by a single massive oak stretcher pinned through each upright with exposed hand-cut wood key joinery. The oak is finished in a natural waxed patina with a desirable honey tone displaying an impressive woodgrain pattern and natural movement. The table has a distinct profile crafted in a Country Farmhouse French Provincial style with natural checking, hand-shaped supports, and visible saw marks contributing to the handcrafted rustic character. The table is heavy with solid joinery and craftsmanship. The table has ample leg clearance measuring 26.25 from floor to the apron.
