Nothing about the exterior announces it; the second colour appears only when the bag is open, which is the entire idea. Here the outside is Bleu Indigo — a deep blue that reads close to black in low light — against a purple interior.

Togo carries the exterior. The pebbled calfskin introduced in 1997 has a raised, finely veined grain that resists scratching and light water and holds the bag's shape without stiffening it, and on a dark blue that grain is what keeps the panels from collapsing into flat black. At 30cm, the size the house now sees requested most.

Palladium hardware, cool silver and tarnish-resistant, against a cold exterior. The warmth is all on the inside, which is the point of a Verso.

Blind stamp C (2018). In excellent condition. Includes clochette, lock, and original dust bag. The lock is present; the key is not included. Authenticated in-house. See less
